MENGENAL ARCGIS VIEWER FOR FLEX

Dengan ArcGIS Viewer for Flex, Anda dapat dengan mudah membuat fungsi aplikasi GIS sepenuhnya di web. Peta GIS dan analitik tools dapat diakses oleh pengguna di dalam dan di luar lingkungan kita dengan web browser sederhana. Aplikasi ini dapat didownload, dikonfigurasi dan diatur dengan cepat dan mencakup banyak fungsi dari pemetaan GIS utama berupa tampilan data, peta navigasi, query dan pencarian, markup sederhana, percetakan, dan mengedit data. 1. Viewer dapat digunakan langsung. Memulai dengan ArcGIS Viewer for Flex : Download susunan aplikasi viewer, unzip paket download, tempatkan isi dari paket download (folder instalasi tunggal) dalam direktori web server. Seluruh proses dapat dilakukan dengan cepat. Setelah ketiga langkah selesai, Aplikasi ArcGIS Viewer for Flex siap digunakan. Secara default sudah dikonfigurasikan untuk mengakses layanan dari ArcGIS Online. Sangat mudah untuk memulai dengan viewer ini dan sepenuhnya mendukung fungsi ArcGIS Server dan layanan web. Fungsi viewer termasuk dukungan untuk basemaps, layer operasional, legenda dinamis, data query, penelusuran, GeoRSS feed, drawing, time-aware data, dan editing data, sehingga Anda dapat menggunakan ArcGIS Viewer for Flex dengan peta bersama dipublikasikan secara online.

2. Viewer dapat dikonfigurasi, tidak diperlukan kemampuan khusus pemrograman, tampilan bagus, fungsi, dan isi data dapat dengan mudah disesuaikan tanpa pemrograman apapun. Konfigurasi viewer dirancang untuk non developer. Kita hanya mengedit file XML untuk mengkonfigurasi viewer. Edit sederhana aplikasi file konfigurasi memungkinkan viewer untuk bekerja dengan layanan web misalnya menggunakan logo sendiri dan data kustom. User interface dan fungsi didasarkan pada widget untuk membuat aplikasi web client custom. User interface viewer dan fungsi dapat diubah hanya dengan referensi widget yang berbeda dalam file konfigurasi aplikasi. Konfigurasi viewer membuatnya mudah untuk membuat aplikasi kustom. Secara konseptual, viewer mirip dengan template situs pemula yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi web client dengan cepat, sehingga merupakan solusi ideal untuk solusi aplikasi prototype.

3. Viewer memiliki widget library yang luas. Widgets menentukan tampilan viewer dan fungsionalitasnya. Aplikasi viewer dilengkapi dengan 20 widget yang menyediakan fungsionalitas utama pemetaan GIS. Widget ini dapat digunakan dalam berbagai kombinasi untuk membuat berbeda, solusi web pemetaan terfokus. Semua widget dapat didownload secara gratis dan digunakan dalam aplikasi viewer. Karena semakin banyak orang menggunakan viewer, jumlah widget library ini akan terus meningkat.

4. Framework viewer extensible dengan ArcGIS API for Flex. Viewer ini dibangun di atas ArcGIS API for Flex, kode sumber viewer juga tersedia secara online, memungkinkan pengembang yang akrab dengan API Flex untuk lebih menyesuaikan viewernya. Pengembang dapat memperpanjang viewer yang ada dalam beberapa cara diantaranya : Memodifikasi atau meningkatkan widget yang sudah ada, Membuat widget baru dengan fungsi baru dari awal, dan Memperluas kerangka viewer utama.

5. Viewer ini gratis dan didukung sepenuhnya oleh Esri. Aplikasi ArcGIS viewer for Flex dan source code tersedia untuk didownload secara gratis. aplikasi client Ini dikonfigurasi dan disediakan tanpa biaya. Sering diperbarui untuk mendukung kemampuan ArcGIS Server terbaru dan didukung penuh oleh Esri. Pengguna dapat menghubungi Dukungan Esri dan mendapatkan bantuan teknis dengan viewer bila diperlukan
